Navigating re:Invent 2026: Interactive Venue Map & Travel Times

The hardest problem at AWS re:Invent isn’t picking sessions — it’s physically getting to them. And the venues aren’t the casinos out front: they’re the convention centers tucked behind each resort. AWS’s official map shows where they are. It doesn’t tell you how long the walk actually takes.

The map below estimates realistic walk times between all six venues, marks the covered skybridges, and compares your options: skybridge, street walk, monorail, or shuttle. Pick where you are and where you need to be, and it tells you whether you’ll make your next session and how much time to actually budget.

The “Vegas walk” illusion

If you’ve never been to Las Vegas, a standard map can be deceiving. Two hotels that appear adjacent often require a 20-minute journey. You aren’t just walking next door — you’re navigating massive casino floors designed to keep you inside, climbing escalators to pedestrian overpasses, and crossing multi-lane boulevards.

re:Invent skybridges

The North Campus hotels — Wynn, Venetian Expo, Caesars Forum, and Encore — are connected by covered skybridges that open exclusively for large events like re:Invent. They let you move between sessions without stepping onto the Strip, and they link any two North Campus venues in about 10–20 minutes. The map accounts for them when it calculates your travel time.

Getting around

Plan conservatively. Times shown are baseline. During peak breaks (10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m.) crowds fill hallways and elevators, so add 5–10 minutes, especially the first time you visit a venue.
Ten minutes is only realistic for the closest North Campus skybridge hops: Wynn ↔ Encore, Venetian Expo ↔ Wynn, or Venetian Expo ↔ Caesars Forum. Longer links like Caesars Forum ↔ Encore run closer to 15–25 minutes, and anything involving Caesars Palace or MGM Grand needs more.
The monorail is usually not worth it. It’s scenic, but between North Campus convention centers, walking or the skybridges are faster. The long haul to MGM Grand is the exception, and even there the AWS shuttle is simpler than the monorail’s station-to-hall walks.
Shuttles to MGM Grand can have 10–20 minute waits during peak hours. Check the AWS Events app before you commit to that route.
When you get lost, and you will, just ask. Venue staff and information booths are everywhere. A minute of directions beats five minutes of wandering.
Weather still matters. re:Invent runs late November into early December, so Vegas is mild (10–18°C / 50–65°F). Not summer heat, but nights get cold and the wind on the Strip is unpleasant. Skybridge routes are climate-controlled and worth the extra navigational effort where available.
