On building in the open
- notes
Most of what happens while building something — the false starts, the small decisions, the things that didn’t work before something did — never gets written down. It’s easy to only share the finished result and skip the part where things were actually figured out.
Documenting the process is often more useful than documenting the outcome.
This site is a small attempt to do more of that: short notes on things worth remembering, write-ups of problems worth solving twice, and the occasional experiment that doesn’t need to be polished to be worth sharing. Nothing here is trying to be a definitive guide — just a record of things as they happen.
